If you are in the family of a photographer (whether that be amateur or professional) you are never free from being the subject of photographs.
In this case, Ron was gearing up now that he has all his motorcycle gear in-hand and I couldn’t resist dragging him upstairs for a few pictures.
Probably my favorite… 🙂
This one is hilarious. I caught him “being Emily” …
Look, look! I got him with a REAL smile!!!
With this gear, he is suited for safety. There is tons of padding, special reinforced “armor”, the material of the jacket and pants are “special”, of course his helmet, gloves are made from Kangaroo 🙁 and boots are reinforced too.
Despite not wanting to have ANYTHING to do with his motorcycle, I think it’s pretty darn cool!
Aimee, i will send you a picture of my Uncle Dave, (Ron’s Dad) when he came over to our house to take my Mom, (Uncle Dave’s sister) for a ride on a motorcycle. This was probably 1968 or so (?) and Ron and his Dad definetly look similar, except Uncle Dave’s only leather was his jacket, and he wore big ole horn rim glasses!! :0) Totally adoreable!!
Christine
You know, I don’t think I have EVER seen a picture of Ron with a true smile, and Aimee, you caught him with one! (The motorcycle gear one.) I must say, he looks VERY handsome. Smile like that more Ron!!! It’s so natural looking.
Thanks, Faye. You know I smile like that a lot, but there’s usually not someone around taking my picture.
I love the Emily face, and the smile, too! GREAT photo of you, Ron!
