SeaFair airshow with the Blue Angels!

What a wonderful experience… for me, Ron and Joseph. Even the girls enjoyed it!

It wasn’t as nice and cool as it had been though, but we did manage to find a nice shady spot to sit it. If we’d thought through it a bit more we’d have thought to bring a blanket, but, ah, oh well.

The firstup were the Red Baron pizza biplanes. They were so cool!

Then, came this really *big* plane that streamed through a few times.

Then, the Blue Angels! They were awesome! They did tricks and stunts and fly bys and aerial acrobats. It’s amazing what those airplanes can do.

A one point, two of them were going really slowly across the lake. They were nose up, smoke streaming and for all intents and purposes “walking” across the lake. It was wild!

E&A figured out a new use for their stroller. 😉

The boat time trials followed. These are speed boats that zoom across the water. Fastest across, wins!

An up close look…

As we walked back to the car, we passed the largest grill ever made!

And Joseph posed with his new Blue Angels visor!

All in all, we had a blast and learned, yet again that Seattle traffic sucks! It took us over 2 hours to get home because of it and that had NOTHING whatsoever to do with airshow traffic. Ugh!
