Our next and final stop in Seattle was REI. It was recommended as a great place to do a rock climb. Each climb cost $15, but our REI guy said to “enjoy Seattle” as we told him that we were visiting from NC and were told to come to REI for a climb.
Joseph went first and got up 10 feet and got scared and came down, but that was an awesome feet given he’s usually so shy about new stuff. He tried again later and just didn’t have the nerve so quit pretty quickly. Oh well. Good try the first time!
I decided I wanted to climb too! Yup, me! So, up I went. I made it up all 65 feet and my biceps and calves and thighs were burning at the top. It was a true workout and oh so worth it!
We ate at World Wraps at the top of the REI building for dinner… maintaining our eat at no chains we have here rule. It was ‘ok’. Joseph liked his, I liked mine, but Ron’s was a bit too “peanutty” for him. Gotta try though!
