To the top of the Space Needle!

Today was Seattle city-center day. Of course we had to start by going to the top of the Space Needle. Couldn’t “do” Seattle without that little adventure.

It cost $13 per adult to go to the top, so we thought, hey, let’s eat there as going up is free… you just pay for food. Well… uh… no. A CHEESEBURGER was $24. Yes, literally. Guess you “pay” for your way up in the food cost.

Anyway, so we went to the top, walked around, looked through the *free* telescopes (that was cool!) and then headed down for lunch at a place where cheesburgers are more reasonably priced. 😉

We saw our hotel from above, the city, Mt. Rainier, the ocean/bay/Puget Sound (not sure what exactly), some parasailers and all kinds of congestion and traffic. It was nice to be walking and not have to drive and park. Phew!
