One of the things I’d wanted to do while out on the west coast was take some formal photos… I still need practice and I knew there were going to be some good subjects to test with. Chloe was the first guinea pig. 😉
She was a star guinea pig, too. I didn’t do it the traditional way, following the baby around, but snapped from my fixed location in their living room before she went down for a nap. There wasn’t a lot of light to work with (although there was a great big window in their living room). So, when I started manipulating the photos, I realized it gave me a whole ‘nother “look”. So, I turned all her photos into what I call “old-fashioned newspaper style”. These are “in-the-moment” photos and these two are my favorites!!
