We spent the rest of our day visiting with Christina and Derek and talking church, babies, wedding (Steph’s), etc. We ate at a great little deli in Bellingham called Our House. We told them that we have the “can’t eat at chains we have at home” rule and we stuck to it as Christina likes Applebee’s and Bellingham just recently got one.
Chloe is just as cute as can be. She and the girls played marvelously together. They were all happy and shared toys, but were obviously getting tired. We dragged it out for the girls, but Chloe got her nap in during the end of our visit.
Derek thinks he has it down as to which one is which… his test will be in 1 year at Steph’s wedding. 🙂 He can cheat by practicing on the blog.
We told him they need to move to NC and do a Christ the King church plant. Housing prices in WA state are outrageous… they could get so much more for so much less in NC. And, of course, Christina would be closer to her Mom… but then Derek would be farther away, so, oh well. Maybe we can convince them eventually.
During our entire visit, Joseph spent his time on their exercise bike. He pedaled for nearly 90 minutes! Never once asking to leave or anything… which made the visit even more pleasant! He was sweating like a pig though when we left. It was great for him!
During much of the visit with the Archers, Ron found comfort in one of the over-sized Fiesta chairs. 3 days later, this is where his super skinny cell phone was found.
!!
Call me asap so we can meet up with you guys on Sat before your flight so he can have his phone. (I don’t know Bob’s phone or last name.) 😐
