This boy will essentially have 3 birthday parties by the time he turns 8. 🙂 The 2nd was tonight at Steph and Shawn’s house. We had grilled burgers and hot dogs and everyone played Badminton (is that how you spell that?) and we had cake and ice cream (really good ice cream!).
The girls showed off their tricks… Emi dances and Abby walks. And Joseph had a blast once again. He got $5 from Grandma and Grandpa as well as a computer game.
Shawn was going to take Joseph on a motorcycle ride, but as much as he talks motorcycles, he got a bit gun shy and opted not to ride. Next time maybe. 🙂
In the end, we headed back to Apex and Joseph went with G&G Decker to Rural Hall for a few days of swimming and hanging out with Isabelle… my parent’s neighbor’s daughter whom Joseph likes. 🙂 On Tuesday, however, they will celebrate birthday party part 3 and hopefully at the end of that, he’ll officially be 8 and have no more parties… at least not this year! 😉
