Ron and I were chatting this morning and he told me this story.
“Your girls are weird. [which I know] Emily woke up at 9am and Abby didn’t wake until 10:30am. [doesn’t surprise me because they didn’t nap yesterday and didn’t go to bed until 9:15pm] So, I took Emily downstairs and fed her breakfast and she was tired, so I gave her a bottle and put her in the swing about the time Abby was waking up. Emily drank about an ounce and just held onto the bottle.
I brought Abby downstairs and fed her and didn’t think she’d be tired yet, so when she was done, I put her on the floor in baby jail, by the sleeping-swinging-Emily. Abby proceeded to stand by holding on to the swing’s leg. She then took Emily’s bottle and was holding it back out to Em like she was offering it to her. Em is asleep this whole time. Abby then started shaking it and patting Emily as if she was trying to wake her up.”
Ron eventually got Abby away and let her swing and watch cartoons. It was just a cute story. Shows how much these girls like each other! 🙂
