We had our 9 month well-checkup today. Both girls are growing like weeds! They are still nursing or getting bottles of expressed breast milk 6-8x day and eating solids 3x day. Yup folks! No formula in our family!
We are still stuck to stage 2 foods because they gag on anything with texture. Our Dr. is a bit concerned about that… the girls can’t even handle rice krispies, so we’ve been referred to a Pediatric Dysphagia specialist to have them looked at. Nothing major, but may help them get acclimated to food that isn’t mush.
Other than that, they are doing great! Abby pulls to a stand and is starting to cruise furniture. Both crawl everywhere and can sit on their own — meaning they get into the sitting position themselves.
They babble incessently. Both say mama, dada and baba (which we interpret as big brother). And, Em says ‘hey’… yes, it’s a real ‘hi’!
Now, for the good stuff…
