We celebrated Valentine’s Day at dinner last night (that’s our usual routine). We did not go to Red Lobster as planned because the one on Wake Forest Rd had a 1/2 hour wait and the one in Cary a 1hr 15 minute wait and that was at 5:45pm!
So, we ended up at Bennigan’s right in the heart of Apex. It was a full 10 minute wait ….. ooooh…. and then we were seated right at the front of the restaurant. So, what does that mean when you have twins? Everyone sees you and must coo, and ooh, and ahh over the babies.
The girls, at one point, were staring intently at these two ladies having dinner right behind them. They were turned nearly completely around in their high chairs looking at them. So, of course, the ladies reciprocated and were chatting with them. Soon enough, Abby started crying. It was her own fault though! She started it! 😉
Throughout dinner, they were great. They were happy, Joseph was happy, we had fun and the food was good. The waitress even asked us if our babies are always so good and the honest answer is yes!
