We think we have a leftie and a rightie. If you look in pictures of the girls with their fingers in their mouths, you’ll often see Emily using her right hand and Abby using her left.
This also fits with the girls personalities… Em being me and Abby being Ron. I have *NO* left handed tendencies, whereas Ron has many.
Joseph is a leftie as is Grandpa Bickers, Doug and Steph, so there is lots of “leftie-ness” in the genetics.
Also, I read somewhere that 18% of the twin population is left handed whereas only 3% of the general population is!
And, if one is really a leftie and one a rightie it’s pretty much a given that we have mirror image twins (monozygotic still!). Remember, their hair swirls are on opposite sides. 🙂
