In our quest to eat healthier, we are also attempting to eat at home more often — without ordering out either. So, on Thursday night, I spent exactly 15 minutes dumping the contents for chili into a crock pot and promptly stuck it in the fridge.
Then, this morning, I put it in the crock-pot heater thing and turned it on high. Came home to a house smelling of Mmmmm Mmmmm good chili!
Ron did say he checked it out while it was cooking and turned it to low after about 6 hours of cooking which was a good thing, because we do think it was over done a bit.
But, it was really nice coming home to food that was cooked! Felt like I hadn’t done a thing! 😉
