Ron called me at work and said “Do you hear that?” I’m listening and hearing this screaming in the background, thinking they girls are super-fussy and extra mad and he can’t figure it out or something. Or that he’s calling because I’d just told him “Emily will be hungry the moment you take your first bite [of lunch].” since he’d said he was going to feed her her lunch afterward, and she had done just that.
Well, it’s not screaming. It was pure unadulterated laughter! And it continued while we were on the phone. I was almost laughing so hard my eyes were tearing up, because their laughter is so infectious! They would just scream out laughing. What in the world could prompt this? Nothing, but their brother. 🙂
Joseph was apparently hitting a partially deflated balloon (it’s tied to our afghan stand in the family room). It’s been hanging by the string for several days now while it totally deflates. He was apparently hitting it into the air and the girls were watching and busting out laughing — both of them, together, in tandem, just like little babies who love to laugh!
What a moment!
I love it when babies laugh like that. Dorian thinks Jaqueline is hilarious, too–just to look at her make a face at him sends him rolling—as does the cats!
Mom and Dad aren’t that funny, however. Typical kid, huh?!?!
