After chuch today, we went out to lunch … as is our standard practice. I asked for two high chairs to see how the girls would do, because they hate their carseats for long-term use and they like to sit up and see us, which then usually means being held.
Em hadn’t yet been in a high chair (a restaurant one), so this was new to her. We propped them up a bit by padding their backs with their blankets, and both of them kind of leaned into the back corner, but each stayed and seemed happy!
They were hungry too, so Ron and I made up the cereal and pears and fed them while we sort of munched on chips (Mexican restaurant). Kept us from eating too many chips, that’s for sure!
They both did great, so it looks like this will probably be out mode as we continue to dine out.
On that note though, with the car seats, high chairs, diaper bag and people, we took up a bunch of space! 🙂
