Tonight is Halloween! Joseph was dressed as a Ninja and the girls were peapods.
All in all, we went to 2 dozen houses and Joseph got way too much candy! 😉 Emily got fussy at house #1 and I ended up carrying her for 20 minutes. Abby got fussy by house #8 and Ron was going to carry her when she just fell asleep in the stroller. Emily eventually fell asleep as well. And, about that time, Joseph called it quits.
The most amazing thing is that Joseph went up to each house all by himself. We, of course, walked the neighborhood with him, but he rang the doorbells, said “trick-or-treat” and “thank you” afterward (which he did, regularly). This is a first. Each of the past years, he’s just been too anxious/nervous/scared to do so. Not this year! 🙂
We got enough trick-or-treaters at our house, too to give away all the candy we bought! This was a first for us! Yeah! Now, we only have 1 huge bowl of candy to eat!
